Tipsy?Taxi! is a program designed to combat drunk driving, particularly on holidays that have become synonymous with excessive alcohol-consumption. In Maryland, the program is sponsored by the Maryland State Highway Administration, AAA Mid-Atlantic and Yellow cab, will provide cab rides up to $50 from a bar or restaurant to the patrons home. Soapbox Derby – Centennial Event

Kids Bringing Science to Life (KBSL) is pleased to present its annual Charm City Soap Box Derby Initiative. This is a great activity for the kids of Maryland. Through a series of hands on clinics, kids can learn about science through the construction of a soapbox vehicle, and then later have the opportunity to competitively race. Winners advance to represent Maryland in the national race in Akron, Ohio. Champions are eligible to win college scholarships.
