Nothing shapes public sentiment like the media. Please help us communicate that traffic safety IS public safety and everyone has a role to stop the toll imposed by traffic crashes. Traffic crashes can affect anyone, anytime - they do not discriminate.

Please treat traffic crashes like the serious issue they are. The death toll as a result of traffic crashes in Maryland is equal to three jumbo jets crashing every year. Traffic crashes outnumber homicides; traffic injuries outnumber violent acts including assault and rape. By investigating crashes, providing coverage of crashes - you help educate the public about the dire consequences of wrong choices on the road.
